Description:

The planet is experiencing rising temperatures, and extraterrestrial visitors are reportedly preparing to arrive—preferring their sustenance lightly roasted. Players are tasked with selecting effective actions to mitigate climate change and ensure the safety of its inhabitants, preventing them from becoming unwitting accomplices to alien cuisine.

Options include protecting terrestrial and marine ecosystems, conserving forests, transitioning to renewable energy sources, accelerating technological advancements, or encouraging sustainable behaviors. The challenge lies in devising a strategy capable of minimizing environmental damage within limited time frames. Failure on the first attempt invites players to adapt their approach in order to salvage future worlds.

Climate Crusade was developed as part of an online scientific research initiative. The game blends fictional scenarios with elements inspired by real-world events and does not intend to accurately represent Earth's future or predict actual developments.
